Crochet Multiple DC Rows

You are passionate about crochet work, but you’re tired of working only with single crochet stitches. You want to try something new, perhaps techniques that allow you to work multiple rows at the same time.
Today, I will show you how to do this using the Tunisian crochet technique, and how to work 2, 3, or more rows of double crochet simultaneously.
Once you learn this new method for starting multiple rows of double crochet at once, you’ll find it hard to go back to the traditional way of working one row at a time. I’ll provide a guide on how to work 2 rows of double crochet at the same time, and I will also explain how to start even more rows simultaneously.
To achieve this kind of stitch, I recommend using a twisted yarn to better understand the process.
For starting 5-6 rows at once, I suggest using a Tunisian crochet hook. For 2, 3, or 4 rows at the same time, a standard crochet hook works perfectly. Use a medium-weight yarn (worsted) and a hook between 4 and 5 mm.

How to make -2R dc st
Start by creating an odd number of foundation chains.
Work row 1 by alternating between slip stitches and half double crochets (hdc). Finish this row with a slip stitch .
With row 2 we will see how to work 2 R dc st- two rows of double crochet stitches simultaneously.
ch5: Chain 5
Insert the hook into the third chain, yarn over, and pull through.
Insert the hook into the first stitch of the previous row, yarn over, and pull through.
Close two loops at a time until only one loop remains on the hook.
Repeat by going with the yarn through the two overlapping stitches.
Row 3 work same as row 1
Row 4-repeat row 2

How to make the 3Rdc st
Ch8: Chain 8
YO (yarn over) and skip 2 stitches.
In the third stitch, insert the hook and pull through a loop.
YO, skip 2 more stitches, and in the third stitch, insert the hook and pull through a loop.
YO,Insert the hook on the first sts on the previous row, pull through a loop
Close the loops:
Close 2 loops at a time repeatedly until 1 loop remains on the hook.
Repeat the process by working the yarn through the two overlapping stitches.

How to make the 4Rdc st
Ch11: Chain 11.
Skip 2 loops, then insert the hook into the third chain, yarn over, and pull through.
Skip 2 more loops, then insert the hook into the third chain again, yarn over, and pull through.

Work four rows of double crochet stitches simultaneously.
Repeat the process by working the yarn through the two overlapping stitches.

How to make the 5Rdc st

Skip 2 more loops, then insert the hook into the third chain, yarn over, and pull through.
Insert the hook into the first stitch of the previous row, yarn over, and pull through.
Close two loops at a time until only one loop remains on the hook
Repeat the process by working the yarn through the two overlapping stitches.

If you want to work even more rows at the same time, here is a simple guide on how to start each row:
For 6R dc st – start the row with 17 chain stitches
For 7R dc st – 20 chain stitches
For 8R dc st – 23 chain stitches
For 9R dc st – 26 chain stitches
For 10R dc st – 29 chain stitches
Note: for each additional row, start with 3 chain stitches, and for the last row, only 2 chain stitches.
