Crochet Multiple Mesh Rows

If you want to try a new and creative method to work multiple rows of mesh stitch at the same time, this guide is for you!
I will show you how to start multiple rows of mesh stitch simultaneously using an easy, interesting, and versatile technique. This method is derived from punti classici all'uncinetto and allows you to finish your summer projects faster or combine different stitches to create unique e original pieces.
I recommend using a plied yarn thickness 3 and a 4-5mm hook to see the best results.
We will begin with 2, 3, or 4 rows at once, then, depending on your project, you can increase the number of rows using the Tunisian crochet technique. I’ll demonstrate how to work 2 mesh stitch rows at the same time, but with this method, you can start more rows simultaneously.
I’ve also included the foundation chains for starting with 3, 4, or more rows at once.
We will use American crochet symbols:
chain (ch)
half double crochet (hdc)
single crochet (sl st)
st(stitch)
The row multiples are: xR mesh st
2R mesh st
3R mesh st
4R mesh st and more.
Now I will guide you step-by-step on how to easily and effectively achieve this technique!
How to make the 2R mesh st
Start by creating an odd number of foundation chains.
Work row 1 by alternating between slip stitches and half double crochets (hdc). Finish this row with a slip stitch .
Begin the row 2
Chain 7 (ch7).
Yarn over twice (YO twice).
Skip 4 chains (sk 4 ch).
In the fifth chain, insert the hook, pull through, and pull through the first 2 loops (3 loops
remain on the hook).
YO, skip 1 loop from the previous row (skip 1 loop).
Insert the hook into the next stitch, pull through, then close the loops two at a time until you
have 1 loop remaining on the hook.
Continue the mesh stitch pattern:
Chain 1 (ch1).
YO twice, insert the hook into the two overlapping loops from the previous step, and pull
through.
Close 2 loops .
YO, skip 1 loop from the previous row, insert the hook, pull through, and close the loops two
at a time until only 1 loop remains.
Repeat for the entire row.
Row 3 work same as row 1
Row 4-repeat row 2

Here is the guide to start more rows of mesh stitch at the same time
3R mesh st-10ch
4R mesh st-13ch
5R mesh st-16ch
6R mesh st-19ch
7R mesh st-22ch
8R mesh st-25ch
9r mesh st-28ch
10R mesh st-31ch
Note: start for each row 3 chains and for the last row 4 chains.
