You are passionate about crochet work, but you\u2019re tired of working only with single crochet stitches. You want to try something new, perhaps techniques that allow you to work multiple rows at the same time.<\/p>\n

Today, I will show you how to do this using the Tunisian crochet technique, and how to work 2, 3, or more rows of double crochet simultaneously.<\/p>\n

Once you learn this new method for starting multiple rows of double crochet at once, you’ll find it hard to go back to the traditional way of working one row at a time. I\u2019ll provide a guide on how to work 2 rows of double crochet at the same time, and I will also explain how to start even more rows simultaneously.<\/p>\n

To achieve this kind of stitch, I recommend using a twisted yarn<\/em> to better understand the process.<\/p>\n

For starting 5-6 rows at once, I suggest using a Tunisian crochet hook<\/em>. For 2, 3, or 4 rows at the same time, a standard crochet hook works perfectly. Use a medium-weight yarn (worsted)<\/em> and a hook between 4 and 5 mm.<\/em><\/p>\n

    How to make -2R dc st<\/h2>\n

    Start by creating an odd number of foundation chains.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Work row 1<\/em> <\/strong>by alternating between slip stitches and half double<\/em> crochets (hdc<\/em>). Finish this row with a slip stitch<\/em> .<\/p>\n

    With row 2<\/em> <\/strong>we will see how to work 2 R dc st-<\/em>\u00a0two rows of double crochet stitches simultaneously.<\/em>
    ch5: Chain 5<\/strong><\/em>
    Insert the hook into the third chain, yarn over, and pull through.
    Insert the hook into the first stitch of the previous row, yarn over, and pull through.
    Close two loops at a time until only one loop remains on the hook.
